David West is a musical artist from Western Australia based in New York City.
Released on 20th October 2017, “Cherry On Willow” is his third solo record, following 2015’s “Drop Out Of Collage” and 2016’s “Peace Or Love” LP. “Cherry On Willow” is the work of David West and Teardrops, an ensemble of friends and collaborators, including Bob Jones of Eaters, Louis Hooper of Rat Columns, Mikey Young of Total Control and Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Raven Mahon of Grass Widow, dynamite drummer Griffin Harrison and other supremely talented individuals from the past and future.
Beyond hiseponymous releases, he has been involved with a swath of musical entities over the past decade; present day affairs include Rat Columns, Rank/Xerox and Liberation…the past envelops his participation in such acts as Lace Curtain, Burning Sensation and Total Control.
